Go for a ride on the antique carousel, it's a first magic turn in the heart of Florence...

The antique carousel (also called La Giostra) of Picci family

Shakespeare said that who's giddy thinks the world turns. Well, jumps on the carousel to stop it!

This lovely carousel belongs to Picci florentine family, dealing with funfair for 5 generations. Today it is perfectly inserted in the urban scenery and contributes to create the elegant atmosphere of Repubblica square, heart of Florence.

Giostra dei Picci is a wonderful piece of early century, with all its horses and buggies painted and decorated by hand, and completely restored. With its old music and its nostalgic lights, the carousel is waiting for giving you the welcome rite (ride?) in Florence.
